An Apple a Day

As a community-owned business, we wouldn't exist without this community. Giving back is part of our mission and being a good neighbor. 

We're lucky to live in a place made stronger by local nonprofits. We are proud to support twelve of them through our "Apple a Day" fundraising program.

Every month, we donate 20 cents of every bulk apple sold at both Co-op locations to these groups:

How We Choose Recipients

Our Giving Committee meets annually to chose recipients whose work aligns with our mission to “respect the food, the people and the place.” We have an ongoing partnership with many of our recipients.

Sorry; we do not accept applications for this program or schedule meetings to discuss eligibility.
