Anti-Asian racism has long been a recurring theme in our nation’s history. Since the start of the pandemic, Asian American and Pacific Islanders have been increasingly targeted by racist and xenophobic verbal and physical attacks. We condemn this senseless violence and tragic loss of life.
Recent events are yet another painful reminder that we must unite against racism in all its forms and continue the work to dismantle acts of white supremacy.
