During the month of September, 20 cents from the sale of each bulk apple at both Co-op locations will go towards supporting South-North Nexus. This non-profit organization collaborates with Montana State University to improve resources and opportunities for the immigrant community in the Gallatin Valley. The mission of South-North Nexus is to acknowledge the significant contributions of immigrants to the history, culture, and economy of Montana and the United States by providing resources for them to stay in the United States. They provide various support including legal fees, financial aid for families seeking asylum, and assistance with local government forms like car registration.
August Results
In August, this community raised $2,627.40 for Western Sustainability Exchange. This non-profit has worked alongside ranchers, businesses, and organizations to help the health of the soil, water, climate, and wildlife habitat through regenerative practices.
