Kelly Wiseman has worked for the Co-op since 1989, first as a co-manager and then becoming general manager in 1995. His duties in the store include facilitating communication between both stores, the Main Office and the Central Kitchen, coordinating management procedures throughout the organization and strategizing for the future. When not at work Kelly likes to play in the backcountry on snow, water or dirt. He is originally from Great Falls and has lived in Bozeman since 1984.
Hanah has worked at the Co-op since 2010. She started in both the front end and as a barista before becoming the manager of the Flying C Café. In 2015 she started working on the finance team, eventually becoming the Assistant Controller. She comes to the Co-op with a degree in Mathematics and Philosophy.
Michelle has more than fifteen years of experience working with retail food co-ops starting here as a cashier, eventually helping open and manage the Co-op Downtown, and now as the Human Resources Manager. She took a five-year stint away to work with co-ops all over the country via National Co+op Grocers but realized Montana and this co-op, in particular, had her heart. Outside of work, Michelle is continuing her studies in business management and HR and enjoys being up in the mountains, taking in live music, and puttering in her garden.
Pat Weaver joined the Co-op in 2006. He has over 20 years of experience managing other natural food stores and working as a restaurant chef. When he’s not busy at the Co-op, he loves to spend time hiking, fly fishing, mountain biking or playing ice hockey. He also enjoy enjoys reading, cooking, watching movies and spending time goofing around with his kid.
Sara Dana joined the Co-op in 2011 as the Wellness Assistant Manager, became the Wellness Manager in 2013, and is currently the Co-op West Main Retail Operations Director. She came to the Co-op with 15 years of retail management experience. Outside of work, Sara can be found spending time with her dogs, Baron and Delilah, fly fishing, snowboarding and spending time in her garden.
Alison Grey Germain joined the Co-op team in 2008, working in a number of roles before assuming her position as marketing manager. She is especially grateful raise her children in a place surrounded by mountains, rivers and open spaces.
Lara has been at the Co-op since 2003. She has worked in a number of different departments including: deli, meat and seafood and food service scan. In 2017 she was promoted to scan manager. In her free time, she enjoys sewing and reading.
Chris Berman joined the Co-op staff in 2002 while working on a photography degree. He spent his summers as a whitewater guide in Glacier, Alaska, or the Grand Canyon. Chris currently manages facility maintenance and repairs, and the cleaning and groundskeeping crews. After work you’ll find him fishing, hiking or snapping photos and strumming the guitar.
Scott has been with the Co-op since November of 2016. He has a passion for teamwork, excellent customer service, sustainable food, and in creating a safe inclusive shopping experience. He wants to help make healthy food the most readily accessible and affordable option for all people. In his spare time Scott enjoys camping, biking, exercising, cooking Mexican food, and exploring with his wife and son.
Devinne started at the Co-op in 2017 as Co-op West Main assistant store manager. Some of her responsibilities include working with the grocery, chill and wellness purchasing teams, merchandising and promotional planning. In her free time Devinne is backpacking, hunting, and exploring with her dog Mabel.
Steve Fladhammer started working at the Co-op in 1995. He became the Assistant Produce Manager in 2006 and the Produce Manager in 2013. Steve loves fruits and vegetables and is an avid gardener and a long-time vegetarian. When he’s not at the Co-op, he and his wife Robin are often walking their two crazy dogs Tully and Bella or playing music with friends.
Wyatt Nelson left work in the production side of the film industry in 2011 and joined the Community Food Co-op to be closer to his children and pursue his interest in the culinary arts. He was hired as a staff member in the meat and seafood department which he now manages. He strives to provide the best local, environmentally friendly proteins while helping build the community’s knowledge of sustainable food networks. When not at work, Wyatt can be found cooking, wrestling with his kids, or reading high-tech gadget blogs.
Lori Petermann has been with the coop since 2007 when she started as a lead deli cook. She is currently the Prepared Foods Manager for the Co-op's production kitchen. Lori has more than 20 years of experience in the culinary arts field. She's done almost everything imaginable in the restaurant world from pastry chef to caterer. When she’s not cooking, you can find Lori enjoying the outdoors with her husband and dogs, listening to live music, playing in the garden and practicing permaculture.
Molly has studied and worked in the food industry for over 18 years, starting her first bakery job when I was 16. She graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 2007 with an Associate’s degree in Baking & Pastry and Purdue University in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. She has been at the Co-op since 2018, working as a cook and baker before becoming bread manager in 2020. Whether it’s foraging, snowboarding or mountain biking, Molly loves to spend as much time outside as much as possible with her dog Tug.
Nicki joined the Co-op in 2006. She has worked as a pastry baker and packager at the Central Kitchen and was promoted to Central Kitchen Bakery Manager in 2013. She oversees pastry production. In her free time, Nicki enjoys swimming, yoga, reading and spending time with her pets.
Ty Gardner started at the Co-op in 2004. Ty manages the Co-op’s trucking and dishwashing departments at CWM and PK, and oversees the safety program for the Co-op. In his downtime he enjoys gaming and riding his bike on the trails near his house.
Lenore Maunz has more than 10 years of experience managing kitchens. She started at the Co-op in 2013 as a cook, then lead and then assistant manager. Most recently became the Production Kitchen Cooks Manager. She has her bachelor’s in painting and loves to travel to see artwork and eat yummy food. When Lenore is not at work you can find her snuggling with her “Turkey” dog, reading, cooking various ethnic foods and hiking.
Emily joined the Co-op in 2013 as an intern, while completing her degree in Sustainable Food and Bioenergy Systems. In 2018 she moved back to Bozeman after spending five years in Oregon working in the specialty foods industry. Starting as the Center Store Assistant Manager, her love of cheese, wine and beer led her back to managing the newly formed specialty department. When Emily isn’t at the Co-op, she enjoys arguing with her houseplants, skiing (a Bozeman pre-requisite) and studying wine regions.
Shel Sebren joined the Co-op in 2004 as a part-time cashier. Since then, she has worked in a variety of departments including customer service, wellness, membership and marketing and now, the Flying C manager. She is proud to work for a community-owned, values-driven business. When she isn’t serving coffee and smoothies, Shel practices yoga, skis, runs and rafts. She loves her husband, two teenage kids and bossy little dog.
Kelly Walunis has been with the Co-op since 1998. She has worked in a variety of roles including lead cook, pastry and bread baker and food service program assistant. She also helped to open and manage the Co-op’s Central Kitchen facility. Most recently, she was promoted to co-manager of the Co-op Downtown. Kelly’s favorite thing to cook is Indian food and she spends many of her off hours reading cookbooks. Outside of work, she spends time with her daughter Ruby, riding her bike for many long road miles or in her own kitchen.
Tara has worked at the Co-op since 2007, working at both retail locations. She worked as a Assistant Deli Manager then Kitchen Manager at Co-op West Main. She is now Co-manager of the Co-op Downtown. Tara loves to cook and she is an avid cookbook reader. She enjoys traveling and outdoor adventures with her two daughters.
Nicki Halverson has been part of the Co-op staff since 2006. She was hired as a cook in the deli and in 2007 moved into the deli service manager position. In 2015, she was began working at Co-op Downtown. Nicki likes to spend her spare time hot springing, on the river, in the mountains, and taking in live music.
