COMMITTEE ITEMS THAT REQUIRE BOARD ACTION
The 2022 General Membership Meeting (GMM) ad hoc committee roster was finalized. The Co-op’s second quarter cash position and labor numbers were discussed.
GENERAL MANAGER’S REPORT
We are still requiring masks for staff, but that requirement will be relaxed soon. Some staff feel safer masking when dealing with customers, about half of which are not wearing masks. We will keep the plexiglass at both stores. KN95 masks will be offered to staff to be a part of the transition. Still no good news about the state of the supply chain, there are many out-of-stocks from distributors.
The Board discussed what details from meetings should and should not go into the public minutes. Decision: Three months’ worth of the most recent meeting agendas and minutes will be posted on the Co-op website; the rest will be archived. Members may request past minutes by emailing the Board. Board internal email protocols and etiquette were reviewed.
