For over three decades, B Bar Ranch has raised grass-fed organic cattle while maintaining the environment's health. B Bar Ranch's agricultural practices have not only produced nutritious cattle but also produced a healthier landscape.

Since getting its organic certification in 1989, B Bar Ranch has centered its practices on incorporating the importance of the environment's health to ensure the health of its cattle through regenerative practices. This means taking a sustainable approach to how they use the land to reduce their carbon footprint.

An example of this is how B Bar makes its own compost out of a mixture of regular compost (manure) and the bones of carcasses that are left over from meat processing. The compost gives the land nutrient-rich soil that creates a variety of plants that maintain the land's health and reduce methane produced by cattle. Happy soil makes happy cattle; B Bar can preserve the land's soil and plant health, providing a healthy diet and nutritious beef.
