In celebration of one year since launching our self-checkout at the Co-op West Main, we’re excited to host a fun event just for our youngest members! On June 18th from 8 to 10 AM, kids ages 5 to 12 will have the chance to put their self-checkout skills to the test in a friendly race — and of course, celebrate with some tasty local treats.
To keep things fun and fair, participants will be divided into three age groups for heats: ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12.
We have space for 27 kids in total, and to make sure everyone stays safe and has a great time, parents must be present with their children during the event.
Each young Co-op member who races will receive a special Co-op Kids t-shirt and a refreshing popsicle from Montana Ice to enjoy after their speedy checkout!
