Support the Warming Center on October 22

October 17, 2016

On Saturday, October 22 we are donating 5% of our total sales at both Co-op locations to the Bozeman Warming Center.

The Warming Center, which offers seasonal shelter to anyone in need, is 100% funded by our community. October 22 is Warming Center Awareness Day, when businesses across town are pledging to donate 5% of their sales to this important community resource and raise awareness for homelessness in our area.

Last year, the Warming Center provided life-saving shelter to more than 280 men, women, and children. On November 1, the Warming Center will open for the seventh season of providing a warm and safe place to sleep to member of our community during the coldest months of the year.

Created in partnership with the Greater Gallatin Homeless Action Coalition, the Warming Center is a part of HRDC’s Housing First Program and has been a part of our community since 2010.

Co-op Deep Roots

We are honored to support the Warming Center as one of our Leading Community Partners through our Deep Roots giving program. Providing a warm, safe place to sleep reduces the risk of lives being lost while sleeping outside in the elements. This important work helps makes our community a stronger, kinder, place for everyone.
