An Apple a Day for...
the Bozeman Help Center!
(How much did we raise for Reach in August? See below!)
In September, 10 cents of every bulk apple sold will support the Bozeman Help Center. The Help Center offers a 24-hour suicide and crisis hotline (586-3333) assisting with issues ranging from suicidality to depression/anxiety and relationship/family problems.
In addition to suicide intervention and prevention, the center also offers sexual assault counseling and child advocacy programs.
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
This is an especially important issue in Montana. For the past 30 years, Montana's suicide rate has ranked in the top four in the nation. Suicide is the second leading cause of mortality among Montana’s youth and young adults (15-19 year olds), second only to motor vehicle crash deaths.
Run for Your Life
Now is the time to sign up for the Help Center's annual Run For Your Life 10k & 5k Run/Walk and Kids' Run on Saturday, October 27. All proceeds benefit the Help Center's work on suicide prevention and intervention.

In August, we raised $1,478.59 for Reach!
A big thanks to our amazing community for helping us raise money for Reach, a local non-profit that empowers adults with disabilities.
About "An Apple a Day"
"An Apple a Day" is a Co-op program that raises money for local non-profits through apple sales at both locations.
Every month, we will donate 10 cents of every bulk apple sold to a different group.
Check out our list of 2018-19 recipients and learn more about the program at: An Apple a Day.
