2017 Co-op General Membership Meeting
Here We Grow Again
The Co-op’s story began in 1979 in a tiny house on South Wallace Avenue. It all started with a few people on the fringe looking for democratic control of their food supply. The store, run mostly by volunteers, was originally called Crossroads Consumer Services.
Since that time, growth has been a central theme of the Co-op’s history. As the community has evolved, so too has our member-owned store, now boasting two locations and an offsite kitchen, bakery and warehouse.
So, what’s next? Well, we’re planning to grow of course! The Co-op owns the property adjacent to Co-op West Main at 920 West Main Street (formerly Aspen Motors). Plans are currently underway to remove this building for a projected expansion in the years ahead.

General Membership Meeting Agenda
Coffee, Cake and Ice Cream
Member owners are invited to enjoy free cake, ice cream, fresh fruit and coffee.
Board and staff members will discuss the year in review, financials, as well as what’s to come in the years ahead, including our expansion plans. We hope that you’ll come, join in on the conversation and ask questions.
Board Election Results
We will announce the results of the Board of Directors’ election, in which three seats will be determined by a vote of the membership. This year, we have four candidates running for three open seats and a proposed bylaw change.
Remember to Vote!
Before the General Membership Meeting on May 16, remember to vote! Member owners may vote in the store or online anytime between now and May 16 at 5 pm.

All member owners who attend the GMM, and vote in the election, are eligible to enter our raffle. Prizes include an Honest Tea cruiser bike, a Woodstock gardening wagon and Co-op gift bags.
