Where Our Values Meet the Land: B Bar Ranch Tour
Join us for a special Co-op member field trip to B Bar Ranch, a regenerative ranch located in Sweet Grass County. This is your chance to connect with the land, meet the people who raise your beef, and deepen your understanding of what makes truly sustainable agriculture so valuable.
You’ll learn how B Bar uses regenerative practices to raise grassfed beef, care for the soil, and build resilience into their local ecosystem.
You’ll also get to:
See their composting systems in action
Visit with the cows
Explore the landscape with knowledgeable ranchers
Enjoy a ranch-made burger lunch, provided by B Bar
When: Saturday, May 31 from 10:15AM-4:30PM
Who: Reserved for Co-op Members and their household. This tour is first-come, first-served for the first 15 folks to register.
Kids: Kids are welcome (recommended age 5+)
Cost: Free Admission
Included in the Tour: Transportation and lunch
What to Bring: Close-toed shoes, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), water bottle, and layers (this is a rain or shine event)
Schedule
10:15AM: Guests arrive at the Co-op
10:45AM: Bus departs the Co-op
12PM: Arrive at B Bar Ranch
12-3PM: Planned activities + lunch at B Bar
3:15PM: Bus leaves B Bar Ranch
4:30PM: Bus arrives back at the Co-op
