Special Orders

Special orders allow our member owners and other customers to purchase items that we do not carry, as well as to purchase products in large quantities (a case or more).

To place a special order, talk with a customer service representative and fill out the appropriate special order forms: Grocery (including Bulk, Cheese, and Produce), Spirits and Wellness.

Special ordering is available through the grocery department or Customer Service until 6pm daily. Our staff can clarify and answer any questions. Stop by the Customer Service desk or call 406-587-4039 for more information.

FAQ

How do I know how much it will cost?

Use the wholesale prices in the ordering catalog as a guide to each item’s cost. Be sure you are using the most updated catalog. Your cost may vary based upon the supplier’s current price. Price changes can result in a balance due or a refund, so be sure to check the order form to find out if either applies to your order.

Do I have to prepay?

A payment in full will be required before your order is placed. Please keep your receipt and your copy of the special order form. Also, be aware that some of our suppliers charge for shipping; any freight charges associated with your order will result in additional charges and need to be paid when you pick up your order.

How much do I have to order?

For most products you must order a minimum of one case, though department minimums vary. Please see the order schedule for deadlines and deliveries.

I’m a Co-op member. Do I get deals?

Member Owner Specials and other sale items are passed along to the customer when possible. All items are subject to out-of-stocks. We encourage you to order during the first two weeks of the month.

Can I order over the phone?

Phone orders are limited to a two-item maximum and can be placed or requested at the customer service desk. Payment in full is required on all phone orders with a credit/debit card.

How will I know when my order is in?

You will be notified by phone when your order is ready for pickup. Orders large in size (a grocery cart full) must be picked up within 48 hours of notification. Smaller orders must be retrieved within one week of notification.
