A message from Gallatin Valley Farm to School:
Want to support local food in Bozeman School District’s cafeterias? Here’s your chance! Join the Bozeman School District and Gallatin Valley Farm to School in promoting the Local Lunch on Thursday, March 4.
Volunteers will be donning fruit and vegetable costumes to spice up the cafeteria scene while offering up samples and fun food facts to kids.
Not only is it a fun time, but this event also increases awareness about the importance of eating locally. Free school lunch will be provided for volunteers at the end of the lunch period.
The delicious menu includes: Cheesy alfredo with noodles from Pasta Montana in Great Falls, butter and cream from Country Classic in Bozeman and bread from Billings. Country Classic milk is offered daily in Bozeman public schools.
